Kremasti beach is situated 12 kilometres southwest of Rhodes Town, in the northwestern part of the island.
The beach in general
Kremasti beach is a long stretch of shingle and pebble situated in natural surroundings. The water is clear and deepens quickly. The shoreline and seabed are covered with pebbles.
There are several sections with sunbeds and parasols. The beach is usually less crowded than the neighbouring beaches in Ialyssos and Ixia.
The pebble and shingle beach is rather unsuitable for children. Bathing shoes are highly recommended.
The almost constant breeze provides perfect conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. It is
possible to rent equipment at the beach.
You will find a few restaurants and cafés along the beach.
Kremasti is a tranquil and quite beautiful village, which is popular among families and couples looking for a peaceful holiday.
The cosy centre of the village is home to several shops, outdoor cafés/restaurants and the whitewashed church, Panagia Katholiki. One of the largest and most beautiful churches in Rhodes.
You can choose among about ten hotels in Kremasti. Users of TripAdvisor rank the Emerald Hotel as the number one hotel in Kremasti.
Kremasti is situated close to the airport of Rhodes, which is located west of the village.
