Kiotari beach
Kiotari is located 60 kilometres south of Rhodes Town and just a few minutes’ drive from the beautiful town of Lindos. Kiotari is a fairly new and modern holiday resort, suitable for both families and couples.
The beach in Kiotari
The holiday resort of Kiotari has almost 5 km of coastline, most of which is beach of varying quality. The two best parts of the beach are located in areas with hotels.
One part is quite centrally located by the beautiful 5-star family hotel Princess Andriana Resort & Spa and the other part is at the north-eastern end of Kiotari. In both places, the wide beach is covered with sand, but the sand is mixed with pebbles towards the shoreline. The water is perfectly clear and deepens rather quickly.
In these two areas there are many sunbeds, parasols, showers and toilets. For those travelling by car, free parking is available close to the beach.
Child friendliness
There is plenty of space to play in the sand. There are some pebbles at the shoreline, so it’s a good idea to bring bathing shoes for the children.
Water sports

Beach restaurants
In the two areas of the beach where the hotels are located, there are beach restaurants serving refreshments and light meals. Several of the hotels are all-inclusive, so many people eat their meals at their hotel.
Kiotari holiday resort
Kiotari is one of the newest holiday resorts in Rhodes and one of the most modern. In the town centre there is a large Carrefour supermarket, around 10 tourist shops, two pharmacies, car rental, cafés and restaurants. In short, Kiotari has everything you need for your holiday.
The hotels are all close to the beach. The best is the 5-star Princess Andriana Resort & Spa, perfect for families and couples alike. For the kids, the hotel has its own water park with many water slides, while the adults can enjoy the large wellness centre with spa and fitness room.
If you fancy an excursion, the historic town of Lindos is just 16 kilometres away. A beautiful town with whitewashed houses and a fantastic beach. High above Lindos is the ancient fortress Acropolis, which you can reach by foot. The view from here is unrivalled. Another option for an excursion is the impressive natural beach of Prasonisi at the southernmost tip of Rhodes.
